The Career Resource Center provides Internet access to customers and employers for their use to locate career and business information, and usage is limited solely for this purpose.
The Career Resource Center monitors individual Internet usage as a routine matter.
Customers and staff that access the Internet must be aware that the hardware and software employed for the Internet access has the ability to log all Internet activity, including linked sites.
Nothing in this policy shall prohibit law enforcement officials from examining any Internet usage in the course of an ongoing investigation of criminal activity. The Career Resource Center reserves the right to disclose any Internet activity to law enforcement officials.
Any conduct that violates this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal of staff or legal action against customers.
No one shall receive authorized access to the Internet until he or she has reviewed and agreed to comply with this policy.
Each user must sign the Internet Log sheet giving name, address, time on and time off. Such documentation shall be retained in the Career Resource Center.
Users are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner with regards to use of equipment and interactions with other patrons and staff.
